Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organized Sports Activities Specialist to oversee the day-to-day execution of sports programs, activities, and events within the club. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all sports activities by coordinating schedules, managing resources, maintaining safety standards, and delivering an exceptional experience for club members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily setup, execution, and closing of sports programs, classes, leagues, tournaments, and club events.
  • Manage court and field reservations, equipment preparation, and venue readiness to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor daily activity schedules, resolve operational issues promptly, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Coordinate with coaches, instructors, and event staff to ensure all programs are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare daily staff schedules and provide on-site operational support during sports activities and events.
  • Track operational performance, including attendance, equipment utilization, and member feedback, and submit regular reports to the Deputy Club Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all club policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of sports facilities and equipment, reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall member experience.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct manager.

    • Qualifications & Requirements

    • Good understanding of sports operations, scheduling systems, event coordination, and inventory management.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on the club's activity schedule.
    • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.

    Experience

    • 0–5 years of experience in sports operations, recreation, clubs, or a similar environment.
    • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is considered an advantage.
